Car vs horse wreck claims life of Van man
DPS says the fatal wreck occurred Monday night just before 7pm. Reports indicate Garrett was traveling south on Highway 110 when he hit the horse, lost control of his car and struck a tree. The accident happened two miles north of Van.

Steel plant accident kills worker, hurts 2nd
