Alabama Legislature passes Arizona-style immigration bill
The Senate voted 25-7 and the House of Representatives voted 67-29 for the plan, House Bill 56. Supporters said it was similar to a tough immigration law passed by Arizona last year. The bill will become law if Gov. Robert Bentley signs it.
